Registration - SHORT GUIDE

Choose the first item you are interested in (for example “Regular Registration”) and then press "SELECT". Now press "Continue Shopping" so that you can select more items (for example “lunch ticket 3 days” or “gala dinner”). When you are done just press "COMPLETE". The system will display your "Shopping Cart" for you to check all the items selected. If everything is correct press "NEXT STEP". You will then need to fill in the Form with all your data and press again "NEXT STEP". Now you are in the "Choose payment option" page where it is possible to choose “credit card” or "Payment in Advance". We strongly recommend to choose the "Payment in Advance" option, unless you are forced to choose a credit card. With the "Payment in Advance" option, Bank Transfer instructions will be sent to your email address. As soon as we will receive the bank transfer we will promptly notify you with your registration confirmation.


HESAR Website only provides the Registration Form, while the Abstract Submission system is online on the SICC 2017 official website.

Contributions accepted for SICC 2017 are oral presentations and posters, both in English language (please click here to go to the SICC 2017 official website for more information and to submit your contribution).

 

Please note that all contributions will be considered for publication, as full papers, in internationally recognised peer-reviewed and indexed SICC 2017 Proceedings published by Springer with ISBN code and indexed in Scopus with DOI. Authors are reminded that any contribution accepted for presentation (both orals and posters) and not presented by one of the authors at the conference will not be submitted for journal publication.


Registration Categories - Details

 

Regular Registration (with Paper Submission)

Regular Registration fee covers the full paper submission of the contribution. Both oral and poster contributors will have the possibility to submit a full paper for publication in the proceedings. 

Regular Registration also includes:

- Participant Kit

- 1 admission to the Welcome Coffee on Monday

- Coffee Breaks Monday to Wednesday

- 1 admission to the Welcome Reception and Concert on Monday evening

- the conference proceedings (download or USB key)

- a mobile Android or iOS App, or alternatively a printed abstract book

Lunch is not included. Gala Dinner is not included.

 

Student (with Paper Submission)

Student fees are applicable only to full-time students. Students must send a proof of their student status (student ID or certificate) to sicc2017@sicc2017.com, certified by the signature of a supervisor, as a PDF file. Student registration will be validated upon receipt of the proof. Student Registration fee covers the full paper submission of the contribution. Both oral and poster contributors will have the possibility to submit a full paper for publication in the proceedings. Click here for more information.

A special reduced fee is provided to Governmental Employees who want to attend the conference but do not want to submit a full paper for publication.

- 1 admission to the Welcome Reception and Concert on Monday evening

We can print the poster for you for EUR 45. Please choose this option upon registration. Poster will be given to you at the registration desk.

Other Important Information

 

Changes & Cancellation Policy

We do not offer refunds for cancelled registrations or related fees. If you are unable to attend the conference, you can request the transfer of your registration to another participant. Name changes must be notified to LOC by e-mail sicc2017@sicc2017.com by the 28th April 2017. A name change fee of EUR 50 will be charged.

We can only offer refunds if we receive (at hesar@hesar.it) a refund request within 2 days from the payment and before Friday, 21st April 2017 (after the 21st of April 2017 we do not offer any refund). We will charge you the bank transfer fee. We will be issuing a refund (in EUR) as soon as we have completed the necessary paperwork. 

 

Passport and VISA requirements

Invitation letters for visa purposes can be sent to participants who need it. Required information: Full name, Date of birth, Place of birth, Permanent Address, Country of citizenship (country which issued your passport), Passport number, Date of issue of your passport, Date of expiry of your passport. Please apply to the consular office or embassy of Italy in your home country for further information. Post delivery service fee (such as DHL, FedEx) is about EUR 50, depending on country of delivery. In most of the cases, conditions for the issuance of the invitation letter is Payment of SICC 2017 Registration fee, and Payment of accommodation. We therefore encourage you to register and book accomodation before applying. In any case, we strongly advise you to apply at least one month before the event.

 

Badges

Conference identification badges are mandatory and will be required for admission to all conference functions (including social events).

 

Publicity Policy

Each registrant grants SICC 2017 the right to photograph/videotape participants and to use such photographs/videos and the names of attendees in materials which either represent the proceedings of the conference or promote future conferences.

 

Liability

With paid registration, the participant acknowledges that he/she has no right to lodge claims against the conference organizers should the meeting be altered, hindered, or prevented by unexpected political or economic events, unpredictable forces of nature, speaker cancellations or other unforeseeable events.

 

Insurance

The organizers do not accept any responsibility for individual medical, travel or personal insurance. Delegates are strongly advised to have their own travel insurance policies to cover risks including (but not limited to) loss, cancellation, medical costs and injury. SICC 2017 and/or the conference organizers will not accept any responsibility for any delegate failing to take out adequate insurance.
