Session 1 of thesis discussion - 12th Edition Second Level MasterCBRN

Dear colleagues,

We are glad to announce that the first cohort of students of the 12th Edition of the Second Level MasterCBRNe discussed yesterday 15th of March 2024 the final thesis.

Matteo Diaco (Italian Fire Fighters Corp), Dr. Susanna Ferrero (Medical Doctor at Valle Giulia Hospital), Dr. Colleen P. Ryan (Medical Doctor at Tor Vergata Policlinico Hospital), Dr. Laura Filograna (Medical Doctor at Tor Vergata Policlinico Hospital), Dr. Ing. Flavio Giomini (Italian Prime Ministry Office), Dr. Monica Cimino (ENEA), Dr. Rachele D'Amario (Medical Doctor at Tor Vergata Policlinico Hospital), Dr. Ing. Maria Paluccio (Italian Fire Fighters Corp), Dr. Ing. Damiano Zurlo (Italian Fire Fighters Corp), Dr. Luca Fiorani (ENEA) have been graduated in the Second Level Master Course in PROTECTION AGAINST CBRNE events - Advanced Level for Advisor of Decision Makers.

The topics of the thesis have been different and related to military and civilian applications. Application of CBRNe NATO Policies, use of innovative technologies for chemical detection or biological decontamination, safety and security of hospitals, patients, and pregnant women in case of CBRNe events as well as application of virtual autopsy as well as emergency management, case studies and lesson learned, organization of international training and TTXs have captured the attention of the commission for the whole morning.
