Dear colleagues,
We are glad to announce that last 28/06 – 02/07 the third RESIST training, held at the NBC School of Rieti with the partecipation of the Italian FireFighters Department (CNVVF), has come to an end. #MasterCBRNe - CBRN Gate, University of Rome Tor Vergata is partner of the project. Dr. Andrea Chierici is in charge of this project on behalf of the #MasterCBRN Directive Board together with Dr. Daniele Di Giovanni.
In total, 23 operators were trained: 6 from the Center for Nuclear Research Casaccia, 7 from the Port System Authority of the Eastern Sicilian Sea, 5 from the Alexandru Podgoreanu Tuzla Airport and 5 from the Dr. Carol Davila Military Hospital.
Agenda of the Training:
Monday: Bio risk, safety information, detection of biological agents and PPE
Tuesday: Chemical risk and radiation protection, physical protection and cognitive psychology
Thursday: Operational approach of first responders in a CBRN event – protocols for FireFighters intervention and coordination with CI staff in case of CBRN event and a radiation risk scenario including practical aspects
Friday: A live exercise
